Nutrition coaching is the term used to describe the process of a certified nutrition coach providing guidance and advice towards a client who wants to make positive nutritional changes.

A common misconception of nutrition coaching is that a nutrition coach is there to prescribe nutrition plans and diagnose any potential dietary issues which may be causing negative health impacts. However, this is not the case. A nutrition coach's primary objective is to educate about the role of nutrition and how you can make your own positive nutritional choices.
